Irish Committee

In Ireland, TSSA is managed by the Irish Committee, which is elected every three years by the entire membership in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The Committee has the power to make decisions of a political and industrial nature affecting the members in Ireland.

The elected Executive Committee member for Ireland is Chair of the Committee and the TSSA General Secretary acts as Secretary to the Committee.

Three members in the Republic of Ireland, and three in Northern Ireland, are elected to represent all members except Supervisory Grades. The Supervisory Grades elect one member in the Republic, and one member in Northern Ireland, as their representatives.
