Day of Action

A co-ordinated "day of action" has been organised by ATL, NUT, PCS and UCU on 30th June 2011.

TSSA is calling on it’s members to show their support and solidarity to those unions and their members in struggle as follows.

"Day of Action" Events

An impressive number of public events have been planned for 30th June - and, where possible, supporters from other trade unions/campaigns are welcome to attend. Full details of events taking place can be found from individual union websites as follows:

Support and Solidarity

The TSSA along with many other trade unions at national level has already sent messages of support to each of the unions involved in the "day of action" on 30th June. We would also encourage messages of support from TSSA Branches, Divisional Councils, SOGs and workplaces. These should be sent to appropriate local or regional groups involved in the day of action.

We are also encouraging TSSA members to visit picket lines and organise collections in order to donate to individual union hardship funds.
