In 2006 South Eastern Trains was renamed Southeastern

South Eastern Trains assumed responsibility for the franchise from Connex South Eastern on 8 November 2003.

TSSA Members vote to accept pay offer - 12 September 2008: TSSA members have accepted the the offer of a 4.3% pay rise from Southeastern for Fleet and Station Staff.

Revenue protection pay offer 2006 - 2 May 2006: Southeastern made an offer an increase in salaries and all associated payments of 2.9% which represented the rate of inflation plus 0.5%.

TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection Employment Regulations) Transfer to Govia - 17 February 2006: At a recent TUPE transfer meeting in connection with South Eastern Trains franchise becoming a Govia company, your Company Council and I asked the questions of both management teams South Eastern and Govia in regard to the transfer on 1 April 2006.

Grades 4.0 - 4.3 Pay and General - 21 December 2005: Update following the first discussions on pay for the above grades. At the end of the meeting South Eastern Trains stated that it would be sending the TSSA a written offer.

Ticket office machines dispute referendum - 15 December 2005: TSSA announce result of referendum following the proposed agreement from South Eastern Trains which was outlined on 2 December 2005.

Ticket Office Machine replacement dispute - 2 December 2005: Following further discussion on the replacement of the APTIS ticket office machines, I believe we have reached a proposal that you will feel is acceptable. This agreement does in my opinion show a major movement by South Eastern Trains towards what we were looking for.

Ticket Office Dispute - 28 November 2005: The Assistant General Secretary and the Company Council met with South Eastern Trains following the result of the ballot for industrial action. The TSSA told South Eastern Trains that there were some fundamental principles that we had over the current issues in the proposals for the South Eastern Trains ticket offices.

New Ticket Issuing Systems - 24 November 2005: The RMT have organised an open meeting in Bromley for Thursday 24 November to discuss why they are in dispute with South Eastern Trains over new ticket issuing systems.

New Ticket Machines - 30 August 2005: Members will be aware that the APTIS ticket machines used by South Eastern Trains are being replaced by new STAR machines manufactured by Fujitsu.

Proposed Station Staff reorganisation "Retail Supply and Demand" and General Matters - 4 August 2005: The consultation process has now taken place and as a result the London Transport Users Committee and Rail Passengers Council have received nearly three thousand objections.
