TSSA is an independent, UK-based trade union for the transport and travel trade industries. We have 30,000 members in the UK and Ireland, working for the railways and associated companies.
TSSA has had members in Ireland since the late 1890s; our first branch was formed in Belfast in November 1904.
We represent salaried staff in many different undertakings, and TSSA's affairs are managed by an Irish Committee, elected by the entire membership in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.
