TSSA is an independent, UK-based trade union for the transport and travel trade industries. We have 30,000 members in the UK and Ireland, working for the railways and associated companies.

TSSA has had members in Ireland since the late 1890s; our first branch was formed in Belfast in November 1904.

We represent salaried staff in many different undertakings, and TSSA's affairs are managed by an Irish Committee, elected by the entire membership in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland.

    TSSA members at Dublin Bus have voted to take strike action in the row over the Labour Court's three year pay recommendation of 8.25%.

    The threat of disruption at Dublin Bus grew today when all three union agreed to meet next week to co-ordinate industrial action over a rejected 8.25% pay recommendation from the Labour Court.
