Over 90% voted to accept the deal set out in our previous newsletter so we have a strong mandate to accept the offer on members’ behalf. The Glasgow to Aberdeen line was closed for planned maintenance so passengers had to transfer at Edinburgh but trains at Haymarket were already standing room only when hundreds of travellers tried to get on.
