2011 TUC Black Workers' Conference

Branches are advised that the 2011 TUC Black Workers’ Conference will be held from Friday 8th April to Sunday 10th April 2011 at Congress House, Great Russell Street, London WC1B 3LS. The Conference will begin on Friday 8th April at 2pm and close at 5.30pm.

It will recommence on Saturday 9th April at 9.30am and close at 5.30pm. On Sunday 10th April, Conference will open at 9.15am and finish business by 1pm.

The following members represented the Association at the 2010 TUC Black Workers’ Conference:

Branches are therefore invited to submit nominations for up to three delegates (at least one of whom must be a woman). Nominations must reach this office no later than Monday 3rd January 2011. The Association is entitled to submit one motion of not more than 200 words to this Conference. If you would like to submit a motion please do so by e-mail if possible by Monday 3rd January 2011.

If possible, the candidate should sign the acceptance of nomination on the form. Where this is not possible, the written consent of the nominee should be received at Head Office no later than the closing date for receipt of nominations.

If any nominees have any special requirements such as disabled access, please indicate on the attached form.
