ATW: Stations 2013 Pay Rise

29 November 2013

Announcement on Stations, Conductors and Fleet 2013 pay rise following the TSSA referendum of Stations members. Also an update on the TSSA Neurodiversity project.

Referendum

As per the previous TSSA circular the company offered the below pay offer:

http://www.tssa.org.uk/filemanager/root/site_assets/documents/company_pages/atw/non_drivers_pay_offer_final_nov_13.doc

TSSA stations members have now had their say and have unanimously voted in favour of accepting the offer:

Yes - 100%

No - 0%

Members who voted - 35% of Stations Grade Members

Whilst we would have hoped that more members had voted we appreciate that it was a tight timescale given the timeframe that the company allowed us to canvass your opinions. The fact that no-one voted against the offer demonstrates to us that you are in favour and therefore we will write to the company today outlining our acceptance.

If you want to ensure that we have your correct contact details such as an up to date email address, change in name, new phone number or postal address, please contact our members helpdesk on 0800 328 2673 or email our membership department on membership@tssa.org.uk to ensure everything is correct and up to date for future communications.

Other News - Neurodiversity

TSSA has recently trained one of our Learning reps, Sandra Vaughan to raise awareness on Neurodiverse conditions which are: Dyslexia, Dyspraxia, Dyscalculia, Asperger’s Syndrome, Autism or Attention Deficit Disorder. If you feel that you may have one of these conditions Sandra is also an accredited neurodiverse screener, please speak to Sandra for more information.

If you want to find out more about Nuerodiversity or are interested in attending training and becoming a Neurodiversity Champion yourself then please contact Sandra on Sandra.vaughan@arrivatw.co.uk or phone her on 0292 072 0564.

If you potentially have one of these conditions then it may be that through the TSSA we can approach your employer to seek assistance to make your working life fit into your condition rather than the other way around, please don’t struggle in silence.
