Amey: 2014 Pay Update

2 June 2014

Update on when you should expect to receive your pay increase backdated to 1 March and other important items in relation to agreements

Backdated pay

TSSA has received confirmation that those within collective bargaining should receive their backdated pay rise of 3.1% to 1 March 2014 dependent on the frequency of your pay as follows:

Weekly paid = 5 June 2014

4 Weekly = 13 June 2014

Monthly = 27 June

We would recommend that members check that the amounts are correct and take into account the 3.1% increase back to 1 March and in relation to any of the following allowances that you might receive: “London Allowance, Lodging Allowance, Test Section Mobility Clause, On Call, SCMI”

Next Steps

Various negotiations meetings are in the process of being arranged and we want to ensure that members have an input into these.

In CEFA and CAFA the company will be engaging us in relation to Harmonisation talks and on call. Until these talks are resolved we believe that there should be no changes in job roles or technology as this should be part of the negotiations.

In the Operations Rail side they will be engaging with us in relation to rosters and flexible working.

As always information both ways will be key through these processes, we will seek to keep you informed as to the movement of these talks but we would ask that you also do your bit by supplying us with information, your comments and feedback and that you also consider standing forward to represent your colleagues if there is a vacancy in your area or if not act as a workplace contact. Please encourage your colleagues to join us so that they get a vote in any proposed changes www.tssa.org.uk/join
