Northern (Arriva Rail North): Management Grades (Non Exec) Pay 2016/17

After voicing our concerns over the company’s initial offer, we were able to secure a deal that we feel was fair, and also in line with pay awards made to your colleagues in other grades.

 Your TSSA representatives and Full Time Official met with your employer yesterday to discuss the pay for Management Grades (Non Exec) for 2016 and 2017.

 

I am pleased to say that after voicing our concerns over the company’s initial offer, we were able to secure a deal that we feel was fair, and also in line with pay awards made to your colleagues in other grades.

 

As such your representatives accepted the following offer;

 

PAY OFFER DETAILS:

The deal is for a two-year pay increase:

·         For 2016: 2.2% (1.95% for people receiving a ‘Sometimes Met’ rating based on their 2015 performance)

·         For 2017: 2.6% basic pay award applicable to all. 

 

This is a significant improvement on the company’s initial offer and, I would like to take this opportunity to thank your representatives for their professionalism, and conduct throughout the negotiations. Without their hard work and dedication to ensuring our members are treat with dignity, fairness and respect we would not have achieved such a deal.
