Amey Consulting: Reps Elections Update

13 December 2012

Extension to the nomination period for Amey Consulting Rail members wishing to nominate themselves for election as representatives till 20 December 2012

Election meetings

During the Nomination period we had hoped to attend team briefs, arrange workplace meetings to discuss the importance of members standing to represent their colleague’s interests and work to overcome issues that affect them. Unfortunately there have been some issues in organising these meetings and it may be that in hub areas where we have not been able to hold these meetings we will need to extend the nomination period into the New Year.

However as a temporary measure we will be extending the nomination period till the 20 December 2012 to be able to reassess where we have been able to hold meetings and therefore where members have had the opportunity of finding out more about the elections. This circular will go out to all members via post to ensure that everyone receives a copy. If you wish to read the previous circulars you can do so by visiting our website and selecting Amey under Employer news.
