See below for the letter to Mr J Kenny, Bus Eireann, in an official response to the “Business Recovery Plan” proposals. Since this letter was issued, TSSA have been invited into talks with the company Friday 15th June.

TSSA wish to point the terms of engaging with the company, as set out in the letter to the company dated June 7th. Please view page 2, “If the company accept the above approach, the following must also occur” listed are the conditions that have been accepted by the company, for TSSA to enter into dialog.

TSSA request members to read the conditions carefully, if members are approached and/or if members notice deviations within the workplace, from any of “accepted conditions” please inform this office, any deviation from the “accepted conditions” could lead to a total disengagement from the process.

TSSA and company have accepted that now is not the time for “brinkmanship”, both parties enter this process in earnest to solve all outstanding issues.  TSSA and SIPTU have outstanding issues common to both unions, and will both attend this meeting in an effort to resolve these issues, please note not all issues may be resolved on the day. An update will be issued to members after this meeting and updates can also be got from the list of representatives posted in the last circular.
