Bus & rail franchisee Arriva pays no Corporation Tax

Manuel Cortes, leader of the TSSA transport union said: "It is economic lunacy to pay the German state railway firm over £300 million to run London buses when we have a perfectly good public company TfL which already runs our very good Tube service."

"TfL should also be allowed to run the capital's bus service which was only privatised in the first place to satisfy the 'swivel eyed loons' on the right of the Tory Party."
