Election of staff representatives

Then get involved – become a TSSA rep! TSSA provides full training for these roles, for which the company will release you from your normal duties whilst paying your usual salary.

Following the resignation of Robbie Burgess from a number of TSSA rep positions, nominations are sought for the following:

- TSSA Management Staff Spokesperson
- TSSA Rep on Cross Country Joint Safety Committee
- TSSA Learning Rep

The TSSA Management Staff Spokesperson represents all managers NOT covered by collective bargaining. The two other positions are open to all TSSA members in Cross Country. All of these positions are subject to continuing discussions with the company on future bargaining arrangements which may result in these positions being subject to further elections during the course of this year.

There is also a vacancy for a rep for former Virgin salaried staff including managers that are covered by collective bargaining.

Any TSSA member wishing to stand for election must complete and return an official TSSA nomination form. These are available from the TSSA Helpdesk (email]), or from this website.

To be eligible to stand for election, you will need to be a TSSA member, and to get six relevant TSSA members to support your nomination. The completed nomination form must be returned by noon on Friday 25 February 2011. Further information is enclosed with the nomination form.
