Eurostar Branch Meeting/Social Event and 2013 Company-wide Pay Claim

10 January 2013

A Happy New Year to all our members! We hope that you all had a great Christmas and New Year? Now we are into 2013, we are writing to invite you to the Eurostar Branch meeting and social event as well as to seek your feedback on the impending company-wide pay negotiations that will be taking place shortly.

A January Pick me up!

As the festivities have ended and it is all back to normal we would like to invite our members to the next Eurostar Branch meeting followed by a social event which will give you the opportunity to meet us. Details are below:

(Note we have moved the meeting to TSSA HQ to facilitate a larger room in anticipation of a higher attendance)

Date: Tuesday 22nd January 2013

Time: 14:00 to 16:00

Venue: Basement Training Room, TSSA HQ, Walkden House, 10 Melton Street. London NW1 2EJ

The TSSA offices are found opposite Sainsburys over the pedestrian crossing off on the western concourse exit of Euston Station. Please report to reception in the main lobby.

The main discussion will be around the 2013 Pay Claim and the effect on our members as a result of the introduction of the new Eurostar Fleet.

This will be followed by a Branch Social Event at the Parcel Yard Public House at the rear of the New Kings Cross Station concourse from 16.30.

All members are invited to both the branch meeting and social; and the first drink is on us!

Company Wide Pay Discussions

We are fast approaching the end of the previous three year company-wide pay deal that has seen Eurostar staff benefit from above inflation pay increases since 2010.

We will be meeting with the company from late February prior to the pay anniversary date in May this year to negotiate a pay deal going forward.

As we are negotiating on your behalf, what we table to the company in terms of a pay claim needs to be reflective of the aspirations of our members.

Therefore we would ask if you can complete a short online survey that will assist us with taking your views forward at the pay negotiations.

The survey is confidential and will give us an idea of what you want to see come out of the discussions with the company.

You can complete this by going to the following link:

Please complete this no later than Monday 11th February 2013 to ensure that your feedback is included in the TSSA pay claim.
