Intermodal Management Grades Pay

The company wrote to us on 11 July offering an unconditional offer of 3% for the year commencing 1 July 2011.

As there had been no offer of a meeting date as requested we responded by stating that this approach undermines the effectiveness of collective bargaining in going forward and we cannot accept this on behalf of our members. There are also other issues as stated in our pay claim letter dated 15 June 2011 that remain unresolved, namely the issue of Management Overtime to which we are still awaiting a response to a commitment from HR to review the matter.

The company has responded with a meeting date of 2nd August 2011 where we will be initiating discussion on both the pay claim and other outstanding issues.
