Hazards Conference 2016

TSSA reps who wish to attend the 2016 Hazards Conference 'Building Resistance to Support Safety Reps in July need to complete the survey below.

The 27th Hazards Conference, entitled ‘Building Resistance to Support Safety Reps’, will be held at Keele University (near Stoke-on Trent) from 7.30pm on Friday 29 July until 12.30pm on Sunday 31 July.
Hazards Conference is Britain’s biggest educational and organising event for trade union safety reps and activists, with a mixture of plenary sessions featuring top headline speakers, as well as debates, meetings and a comprehensive workshop programme. Conference participants will discuss organising, finding out what is harming members, making the most of the enforcement system, and dealing with risks.
It will also be an opportunity to meet other health and safety reps from TSSA and many other unions, share experiences, and learn from each other.
There are SIX places available for TSSA health and safety reps, and applications must be received no later than Friday 1 July 2015. Preference will be given to applicants that have not attended the Hazards Conference before. Please note that loss of pay will not be reimbursed for attendance at this conference.
