Iarnród Éireann strike suspended following a no-strings-attached recommendation from the Labour Court

15 November 2017

Following a request to negotiate with Iarnród Éireann management at the Labour Court on Thursday TSSA is balloting its members over the recommendation reached for a no-strings-attached deal of 2.5% pay rise for three years starting on the 1st December 2017 and an agreement to continue future engagement over the company’s performance and productivity priorities without it affecting the pay rise. Also as part of the deal in recognition of the fact that staff have not had a pay rise for nine years is a one off €500 voucher for all staff.

TSSA will be sending out ballot papers this week alongside all the other unions involved in the dispute and the result will be announced on 8 December. An FAQ clarification document will be posted on the TSSA website before ballots go out.
