Metroline West - Election Update

3 March 2014

Latest on the elections for Company Council, H&S and Local Reps

Garage Reps

Nominations have been received for local Garage Reps at the following Depots:

· Uxbridge: Omparkash Khanna, Steve Wicks, Martin Muir

· Willesden Junction: Mario Ramirez

· Alperton: No Nominations Received

· Hayes: Dave Lopez

· Greenford: Lee Delsol

Therefore, Mario, Lee and Dave are duly appointed as Garage Reps for their depots.

An election will take place to decide the Uxbridge position.

I would urge members at Alperton to nominate a local Rep as soon as possible. Don’t be left without representation.

Health & Safety Reps

Nominations have been received for local Health and Safety Reps at the following Depots:

· Uxbridge: No Nominations Received

· Willesden Junction: Mario Ramirez

· Alperton: No Nominations Received

· Hayes: Rakshit Sharma

· Greenford: Lee Delsol

Therefore, Mario, Rakshit and Lee are duly appointed as H&S Reps for their depots.

Again, no nominations have been received from Alperton.

Company Council Reps

Nominations have been received for the following Company Council Reps positions:

· Managers: Preston Brooker

· Supervisors: Dave Lopez

· Admin: No nominations received

As only one nomination has been received for the Supervisors’ Rep position and the Managers’ Rep position, Dave and Preston are duly re-elected as Company Council Reps.

We strongly urge members working in admin roles to nominate a Rep. You are an important part of the Union and you need your own voice.

Building a stronger TSSA

Many thanks to members who have stepped forward to represent their colleagues. I look forward to working with all the Reps, both new and established, to build a stronger Union at Metroline West.

Good luck to all the candidates in the election for Garage Rep at Uxbridge.

Voting papers will be issued shortly.
