Network Rail Bands 1-4's Pay Update

The facts

When Network Rail made their pay offer equating to a 1% pay pot rise, knowing that most would only receive 0.8%, they sought to justify this by explaining that they needed to save £150m in the current financial year. They explained that this was a good offer compared to the initial offer being considered which was to present us with no pay rise at all.
