Network Rail High Output Reorganisation

29 October 2015

The TSSA and its representatives recently met Network Rail to discuss the principles of the proposed reorganisation of the High Output section. During that meeting it was stated that since the TUPE transfer there was a need to reorganise some of the High Output organisation.

This was on the grounds that there were issues of duplicated work between the Depots and difficulty in communicating with the Network Rail routes. The following commitments were given:

· There would be no compulsory redundancies in grades 5-8.

· No one would have to change from their existing Terms & Conditions, but would be “Ghost Banded” into Network Rail grades.

· Existing Terms & Conditions would be retained even if going into a new role, as long as it was not a promotion.

· There were more roles proposed than existing head count.

· There would be local meetings to discuss the new structures and displaced employees would be given Closed List positions to apply for.

TSSA members with queries and problems with their allocation into a position or their displacement should contact the TSSA Helpdesk or their TSSA representative.
