Further to our communication last week, confirming that the current proposals to cut your pensions are on hold, the TSSA, along with the other unions will hold a high level meeting this week to explore the options.

We will advise on progress as soon as possible, however we still need to be prepared to take action if necessary.

Stay Prepared and update your details!

Network Rail have stated that they still intend to offset their additional National Insurance contribution costs. We still need to be prepared for action so please check that your membership records are accurate and up to date so that we are ready to ballot if necessary.
The information we hold is only as accurate as the information you give us.

Power of veto!

You can view a  reminder of the company’s response here: http://bit.ly/151110RPS

The company's letter explains that, while our sister unions accepted the company's proposals, these will not and cannot be implemented without our union's express agreement. On this basis, we will not be commencing the process of balloting members for industrial action as the proposals are effectively withdrawn.
