    In 2018 GWR carried out an election for Clerical grade representatives. TSSA wrote to members in April to encourage members to stand for 4 Local representative positions; 1 East, 1 West and 2 HQ based, for a 3-year term.

  6. LNER: 2019 Pay Offer

    As previously reported, following a number of meetings the Company has made a pay offer which we now understand has been formally accepted by our sister Unions. Your negotiating team were keen to listen to your feedback before responding to the Company, and so far despite understandable concerns about the lack of detail around plans for the future of Travel Centres and Stations, reaction to the pay elements of the offer have been largely positive. We are therefore proposing to accept the offer, but before doing so want to give members a further opportunity to raise any concerns.     The TSSA is still reeling from the shock of the Management Staff cull that began yesterday. Some Managers have been called into meetings and their services dispensed with. Based on all the feedback that I have heard, it has been ruthless and confusing. I personally feel a great deal of sorrow for all Greater Anglia employees who should all be concerned for their futures.
