Reps Vacancies

12 January 2011

TSSA currently has vacancies for a number of reps roles within DB Schenker. Last year we issued a circular seeking new representatives in a number of locations.

Initial meetings were held with members who were interested in becoming reps. Since that time the Company Council have been fully engaged in supporting members in attempts to save jobs during the reorganisation.

We are now in a position where we can once again commence the process to fill all outstanding positions. If we are to be successful in ensuring that all members have a say in issues that directly affect them it is important that we have representation at every location. We are looking for local reps, both industrial and health and safety. In addition we are looking for three new National Company Council representatives.

Your Issues, Your Workplace, Your Union

Reps have a vital role to play within TSSA and help to build the strength and vitality of the union in their workplace. It is largely through reps that members can achieve change at work. The role of TSSA rep is challenging but very rewarding. Full training and support is offered to all representatives.

Any member wanting to stand as a rep, please complete the nomination form. If you require further information as to what the role entails please contact:-
