Southern Pro Rata Annual Leave Station Grades

TSSA and Southern have reached agreement in regard to annual leave entitlements for station staff.

 

This clarifies the matter since the station staff restructuring. The agreement is as follows:

· For full time equivalent (i.e. 35 hours per week) station staff who work an average of greater than a four day week averaged across their roster cycle, will receive 24 days per annum as their annual leave entitlement.

· For full time equivalent (i.e. 35 hours per week) station staff who work four or less days per week averaged across their roster cycle, will receive 20 days per annum as their annual leave entitlement.

· Part time staff who work less than a 35 hour week will continue to have their annual leave prorated in accordance with existing arrangements.

To reflect that there has been an anomaly in the past, it has been agreed with Southern that station staff will receive a lump sum of £300 for those station staff who are on roster patterns of a fixed 4 x day week and those with a mixed 3, 4 and 5 day week. TSSA has accepted the offer on behalf of our members. Hopefully, if agreement is reached with all parties this may be received on 30 January 2015.
