Stations Staff Pay and Harmonisation

5 March 2011

You’ve voted Overwhelmingly to accept ATW’s Station staff Pay and Harmonisation proposals. Thank you for using your vote.

Referendum ballot results

Set out below is the result of the referendum ballot:
- 86% of members who responded voted to accept the offer
- 14% of members who responded voted to reject the offer

Clearly the majority of members see the amended offer as being worthy enough to accept and so I will write to the company to advise them of TSSA members acceptance of the offer.

What happens next

The Company are awaiting a formal response from the RMT union. Unfortunately, their ballot is running a little behind ours. Assuming that the offer is accepted by their members then the earliest that the backdated payment will be made is in your May pay packet.

I will keep you up to date of any further developments as they occur.

Get more involved

Given the nature of the current economic climate, there has never been a better time for rail workers to be in a union. If you are aware of colleagues who are not trade union members please encourage them to join TSSA so that they have a voice and can be part of speaking up for rail workers.

If you would like to know how you could play a role in making the TSSA an even more effective voice in the workplace, please contact me].

Thanks again for your support and for participating in the above vote
