"Stop dithering over HS2 report" Manuel Cortes tells Tories

24 October 2019

TSSA called today for the Tories to stop dithering after claims that the independent review into HS2 could be delayed until December or indefinitely.

TSSA Leader Manuel Cortes said, “When it comes to high-speed rail Britain is decades behind our European neighbours and China. It's taking far too long to get off the slow lane and build the high-speed network our economy needs and our rail passengers deserve. The Tories must stop dithering and instead give the go ahead for this project not just to be completed but to be extended all the way to Scotland.
