TfL Pay Referendum Results

TSSA members have overwhelmingly voted to accept TfLÂ’s pay offer.

The results of the pay referendum are as follows:

 Accept – 96.7%

Reject – 3.3%

TSSA members have overwhelmingly voted to accept TfL’s pay offer. Feedback to Reps at the lunchtime meetings held across TfL workplaces indicates that, apart from the percentage uplift, some of the more welcome outcomes of the pay negotiations include the retention of the 75% rail concession and the reform of PRP.

Performance Reviews – time for transparency and fairness

TSSA has led the struggle against the discredited, unfair system of Performance Related Pay for some time. We are the only Union to have included replacement of PRP within our pay claim to TfL.

TfL’s commitment to introducing a new PRP system is welcome as long as it results in a fair, transparent and objective process for staff.

We will be launching a staff survey in the New Year to listen to your experiences of Performance Reviews and gather your ideas for the replacement of PRP.

Your views will feed directly inform our negotiating position when we meet with TfL over PRP in 2013.

Rep Elections

Elections for all TSSA Rep positions are only a month away.

We are looking for Local Staff Reps (to support members with industrial matters), Health & Safety Reps (to ensure a safe and healthy workplace) and Union Learning Reps (to promote personal and professional development and training).
