TfL Pay Talks Latest

20 June 2016

On 20 June your trade union reps met again with TfL to negotiate a pay settlement for 2015-16. These talks cover staff in Bands 1-3 on Pay for Performance.

  • The unions shared their feedback on the derisory pay offer of a 0.75% budget for base pay increases, which management propose will be distributed using the ‘Pay for Performance’ matrix
  • TSSA and a number of unions rejected the offer outright; none have accepted it
  • We want a fair and equal pay deal for all TfL staff
  • We asked TfL why they think it is acceptable to make an offer that is lower than the 1.3% increase paid this year to London Underground staff in equivalent grades
  • We have asked for information on pay and performance awards for this year for senior managers and directors across TfL
  • We are awaiting a revised offer from management
  • The next pay talks meeting will take place on 12 July
  • We are scheduling workplace meetings in July. These are open to all staff to hear he latest information and to give your views and feedback. Look out for details...
