TfL Rep Elections Update

10 December 2012

The response to our call for nominations for Reps has been fantastic. We have received a large volume of nominations from members interested in standing for election across TfL.

Thanks to everyone who has stepped forward themselves or nominated a colleague.

However, a number of members have reported that they have not received the circular or nomination form. This is clearly a cause for concern as TSSA is committed to ensuring all our members can fully participate in the democratic process.

Revised Timescales

The election notice and nomination form are being re-issued to those who did not receive them, and the process extended so as not to place any member at a disadvantage.

Nominations forms are also available to download from the TSSA website:

Nominations will now close on Friday 04 January, with the election process commencing the following week.

If you would like to stand for election as a Rep but experience any difficulties in returning a valid nomination due to holidays or other commitments over the festive period, please get in touch.

Interested in becoming a TSSA Rep?

Don’t forget, we will also be seeking nomination for Safety Reps and Union Learning Reps once the LCG Rep elections are completed.

If you would like to find out more about getting involved (in any capacity) before seeking nomination, a member of TSSA staff will be happy to answer your questions.

Simply drop a line to Luke Chester ( or Mel Taylor ( to arrange a time to discuss.
