TSSA leader visits members at CalMac ferries

TSSA leader Manuel Cortes will be visiting CalMac Ferries this week to speak to workers at CalMac's diverse and disparate workplaces.

Cortes said: 'It's great that CalMac retained the right to run lifeline ferries as a public service. I will be using my visit to hammer home the message to the SNP that the Scottish Government must scrap any future tendering of Scotland's lifeline ferry services. I'm very much looking forward to meeting many of you next week.'

Manuel’s schedule will involve visiting Wemyss Bay, Rothesday and Ardrossan CalMac ports
Wednesday Aug 9th - Wemyss Bay, Rothesay and Ardrossan
Thursday Aug 10th - Ardrossan and Brodick
Friday Aug 11th - Kennacraig and Islay Port Ellen & Port Askaig
Saturday Aug 12th - Port Askaig (Islay) and Oban
Sunday Aug 13th - Oban and Criagnure (Mull)
Monday Aug 14th - Train to Mallaig then Mallaig to Armadale (Skye)
