TSSA Members in Amey Vote to Agree Pay Deal

Our reps have agreed to conclude pay negotiations after more than 96% of eligible members voted to accept the company's final response to our membersÂ’ claim for improvements to pay and conditions for 2018.

Details of the Deal

• 3% increase on basic pay and allowances backdated to 1 March with minimum £650 increase

• Overtime payments included in first 20 days holiday pay with up to two year's back pay

• No compulsory redundancies guaranteed until January 2019

• Joint reviews of rostering principles, family friendly arrangements, post-apprenticeship arrangements and competency-based pay arrangements

As the offer relates to the 1 March Anniversary, the terms do not apply to former-Carillion staff who joined Amey since that date.

Thank you to hundreds of members like you who took the time to vote. During protracted negotiations, Amey almost exhausted the patience of our most reasonable members and reps. All evidence suggests that without TSSA members’ tribunal claims we would be no closer to a lawful holiday pay policy than when talks started in 2015. It is reasonable to conclude that Amey avoid negotiations unless they face the prospect of a legal or industrial response.
