What does collective bargaining mean

for me?

Many Carillion staff were employed on personal contracts without a recognised union.

All Amey Rail staff in Bands A-C are covered by collective bargaining, including those transferring from Carillion. TSSA is a recognised trade union, meaning that we represent our members collectively in negotiating pay, conditions, and policies and representing members in reorganisations and relocations. We engage members in workplace democracy to create a powerful voice and to make decisions collectively.

Can you help to build our union in Amey?

Members covered by collective bargaining have the right to elect their union representatives. If you are interested in getting involved, or you have a colleague who you would trust to represent you, email barrowm@tssa.org.uk or call the helpdesk. Full training and support with paid time off is available for reps.

Make sure that we can contact you!

If you provided us with a Carillion phone number, email address and job details we may not be able to send you relevant updates.

To update your details

Please provide details of your employer, workplace, job title, email and telephone number.
