TSSA win victory in CalMac

TSSA and RMT have averted potential industrial action with CalMac. TSSA 's aims of securing agreements on terms & conditions of employment, no forced redundancies, and Pensions have all been met. TSSA will meet the company regarding temporary and seasonal employees next week.

TSSA and RMT have averted potential industrial action with CalMac. TSSA 's aims of securing agreements on terms & conditions of employment, no forced redundancies, and Pensions have all been met. TSSA will meet the company regarding temporary and seasonal employees next week.

TSSA welcomes this agreement, which will secure the services for the community in the Isles.

TSSA wish to thank all those members who gave TSSA the mandate to act on their behalf. Doing so showed that TSSA’s members were united on these issues. Together with our brothers and sisters of the RMT we have secured the livelihoods of our members.

TSSA would also like to thank the community at large and special thanks to those living in the Isles.

TSSA would also thank the public media and Daily Record newspaper who have shown their support throughout this campaign.

TSSA look forward to engaging with the company in the area of temp/seasonal employees.
