Update for TSSA members employed by Carillon

15 January 2018

TSSA General Secretary Manuel Cortes will raise bringing your jobs in-house forthwith with CEO of Network Rail, Mark Carne at a meeting with him this afternoon.

Responding to concerns from members about clocking on today, TSSA is instructing all members to turn up at the start of your shift as usual.

Said Cortes,"The government has given assurances that it will underwrite wages and we are taking them at face value, so are asking our Carillon staff members to turn up to work as usual and know your union is doing everything we can to ensure jobs are not lost and public sector contracts are taken in-house by the government. I will raise our concerns with Mark Carne this afternoon and update you afterwards."

TSSA has set up a Carillon News Facebook page where members can share their concerns and see the latest news on the situation as we have it.
