Virgin Trains East Coast: Members vote overwhelmingly to reject the Company's pay offer

6 October 2017

TSSA members working for Virgin Trains East Coast have voted by a margin of 5:1 to reject the Company's 2017 pay offer in a referendum which closed today. This overwhelming rejection demonstrates how strongly TSSA members feel about the offer, and is a clear indication that members have had enough of being treated as second class employees.

The Company has been notified of the referendum result, and we have requested a further meeting to avoid a potential dispute. We will of course keep you updated of any developments, and would like to take this opportunity to thank members for participating in the referendum in such large numbers, and for your continuing support.

If you have moved home or changed your contact and/or work details, you must ensure you advise us of these changes. This will ensure you receive important circulars and advice from TSSA.
