TSSA representatives met with Virgin WC management in Birmingham on Monday 16 October for further pay talks.
Unfortunately, these talks broke down when Virgin refused to make either an enhanced offer or match the one made to ASLEF members of 3.2% plus an additional £500. It appears that this further payment was made to settle the issue of the claim to a 34-hour week.
TSSA reps will meet on Monday 23 October to discuss this latest breakdown in talks and a potential ballot for industrial action.
