What does TfL's imposed pay award mean for you?

18 January 2016

Under Pay for Performance, your annual pay rise depends as much, if not more, upon your current salary as it does upon your performance. We have outlined etails of how this year's imposed pay deal will impact upon staff in Bands 1-3.

BAND 1:

Band 1 staff signed up to PfP will receive a 1% pay rise this year, providing they do not earn over £30,500. Band 1 staff earning over £30,500 will receive 1% as a non-consolidted one-off payment.

Band 1 on Spine Points will continue to move up to the next level each year until they reach Spine Point 14. They will receive no additional pay increase each year.

Once staff reach Spine Point 14 they must sign over to Pay for Performance in order to become eligible for a pay rise, which is paid at the same level at the overall increase to the pay bill (this year = 1%).

BAND 2:

If you earn over £44,400, you will not receive a pay rise, regardless of your performance. Many staff in this position may have their frozen for several years. Details of the value of the pay award as a percentage increase, as based upon current salary and pay award are given below:

                                                                                                                                           SALARY
