Dublin Bus Clerical Regrading

TSSA along with SIPTU have taken a number of concerns around regrading in the clerical grade to the Workplace Relations Commission.

We have had a for a time now concerns that the lack of transparency or any agreed or established practice for the application and processing of regrading claims could lead to a system that is not equitable for all staff.

We meet 17/06/2016 with the company at the Workplace Relations Commission concerning the issue of regrading for the “meet and greet staff”. As a result of this we have agreed in principle to establish an agreed forum for the purpose of a job evaluation exercise in order to address a claim for regrading.

We will now meet locally with the company to agree the format for this process. If we cannot reach agreement by late July we will head back to the Workplace Relations Commission for further conciliation to assist in finding a resolution to this issue.

Once an agreed process is agreed we will look to immediately lodge any outstanding claims.
