  1. DB Cargo - RTS/Terminal Grades 2019 Pay Deal

    Your staff reps have received a full and final offer from the Company in respect of your 2019 Pay award. As you may be aware all other grades that TSSA represent changed their pay anniversary date as part of their pay deal last year. This was to streamline all pay anniversary dates across the business to a 1st July anniversary date.

  2. DB Cargo - TS & Ground Staff Grades 2019 Pay Award

    DB Cargo have now made a full and final offer to your negotiating team in respect of your 2019 pay claim. As you know as part of the 2018 pay deal your pay anniversary date changed to 1st July 2019.

  3. DB Cargo - TS & Ground Staff Grades 2019 Pay

    Your negotiating team submitted two pay claims to DB Cargo Senior Management team, one for TS Grades and the other for Ground Staff. These pay claims were done by your staff reps on your behalf. The main points of those pay claims are; a substantial pay increase, introduction and enhancement of overtime and Sunday working payments, reduction to the working week, enhancements to family friendly policies and to ensure fair and equal pay across the workforce.

  4. DB Cargo – Wakefield and Trafford Park Terminals to TUPE to Maritime Transport

    The first stages of formal consultation took place earlier this week between DB Cargo and your TSSA staff reps on the TUPE (Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment Regulations 2006), for both Wakefield and Trafford Park Terminals. DB Cargo have sold their Intermodal business to Maritime Transport which includes contracts, buildings/Terminals and staff. Basically, this means the whole operation is to transfer to Maritime, lock, stock and barrel.

  5. DB Cargo Redundancies

    The first stages of formal consultation have taken place on the closure of Southampton due to the business operations ceasing. DB Cargo have confirmed that there are no other alternatives to save the operations here or the staff based here. DB Cargo have confirmed there are 7 permanent staff affected by this closure. Therefore all staff based at Southampton will be put “At Risk” of redundancy until the formal consultation has concluded. The date proposed for closure is 1st April 2019.
