Pride season – a time to celebrate, reflect, and stand together.

At TSSA, we proudly support our LGBTQ+ members and their right to celebrate Pride in the way that’s most meaningful to them – whether that’s through joyful expression, powerful protest, or quiet reflection.

Recent reports show that the UK has fallen in international rankings for LGBTQ+ rights, with growing concerns about equality, safety, and representation. At TSSA, we know it’s vital to stand in solidarity with LGBTQ+ workers across the transport and travel industries, not just during Pride, but every day of the year.

Pride Is Personal and Political

Pride is not just a party. It’s a statement. A stand. A celebration of identity and a demand for justice. As a union, we honour the roots of Pride in protest and continue to push for progress in our workplaces, our communities, and across society.

Your Pride, Your Voice

TSSA believes in the freedom of all members to express themselves authentically. We support every member’s right to participate in Pride in the way that reflects their truth, whether that’s marching, organising, educating, or simply being visible.

TSSA at Pride Events 

Listed below are the Pride events at which TSSA will have an official delegation. 

London Pride 

TSSA will be attending the London Pride parade on Saturday, 5 July 2025. The parade will start near Hyde Park Corner, through Piccadilly Circus, and culminate at Whitehall Place.  

The TSSA delegation will be meeting a 11:30 am, Saturday, 5 July 2025 at the Huntress Fountain. 

We encourage our members to join us on the march and show their support for LGBTQIA+ equality. 

Brighton Trans Pride 

TSSA will be participating in the London Trans Pride parade on Saturday, 19 July 2025. The march will start at 1 pm from Langham Place.  More details coming soon. 

London Trans Pride 

TSSA will be participating in the London Trans Pride parade on Saturday, 26 July 2025. The march will start at 12pm from the Jubilee Square, Brighton.  More details coming soon.
