TSSA blasts Farage over union affiliation plea
Transport and travel union TSSA has hit back at Nigel Farage after he pleaded with trade unions to affiliate to Reform UK.
Responding, TSSA leader Maryam Eslamdoust said - “Trade unionists should pay no heed whatsoever to what Nigel Farage has to say. He and his party are no friends of British working people. Reform MPs voted against the new Employment Rights Act– and against a better deal for our members in the workplace.
“Far from offering real change, Farage and Reform scapegoat vulnerable people, spread division and hate in communities, while leaving those at the top of our society untouched.
“No one should be fooled by this stunt - his appeal for affiliation is a cynical attempt from an arch-Thatcherite to harvest votes - and it will fail.”
