TSSA urges Labour voters to the polls
Transport and travel union TSSA has urged those going to the polls in local and devolved elections to vote Labour and ensure good public services and stronger rights in the face of significant economic challenges.
The Labour affiliated union has stressed that the party, in government at Westminster, has begun the process of turning back the clock on decades of anti-trade union and anti-worker laws implemented by the Conservatives – but still has more to do.
TSSA is clear that only a vote for Labour on Thursday will ensure communities up and down the country have representatives putting people first.
Commenting, TSSA General Secretary, Maryam Eslamdoust said: “It’s vital that people know what is on the line and vote Labour so that we can continue the work of turning around the cost-of-living crisis.
“If you believe in stronger employment rights, expanded childcare, free breakfast clubs, renters’ rights, more social housing, fairness, progress and prosperity – then go out and vote Labour.”
