Saturday's strikes and further industrial action in October

This past weekend our voices together were louder and clearer than they have ever been.
Across the country we saw more than 50,000 rail workers from TSSA and our sister unions, RMT and ASLEF, out on strike - more than at any other point in this dispute. The rail network was brought to an almost complete standstill.
Huge picket lines were seen across the country – check out our strike day wrap up video and keep your eyes peeled for Babs the Bulldog in Wakefield…
1 October strike round upOur demands are clear:
- No compulsory redundancies
- A pay rise which meets the cost-of-living crisis
- No unagreed changes to terms and conditions
We will be putting this to the Secretary of State for Transport, Anne-Marie Trevelyan, when we meet her on your behalf next Wednesday.
But there’s a lot happening before that – including more industrial action by some of you this week!
