Avanti West Coast Industrial Action October 2022

Industrial Action consisting of a Strike is called for Saturday 1 and 8 October.

All station grades staff will be taking industrial action in the form of a strike on both Saturday 1st and Saturday 8th October between 00:01hrs and 23:59hrs on each day. Any member of staff within station grades rostered to begin a shift between these times is requested not to turn up for work.

We are demanding a guarantee of:

• No compulsory redundancies

• A pay rise which meets the cost-of-living crisis

• No unagreed changes to terms and conditions

Please speak to your local TSSA representative about joining a picket line. An agreement is possible, but for now we must remain strong and united in our determination to ensure that meaningful talks do happen, and they do reach a conclusion that is fair for all.
