DB Cargo – Ground Staff Pay Update

It is with huge disappointment that we have learned that RMT have still yet to formally agree to the two-year pay offer. As you know, DB Cargo cannot implement the pay increase until such time as both unions agree to the offer. 

RMT informed both TSSA and DB Cargo that their members had accepted the pay offer and all that was needed was for their National Executive to endorse it. I now understand that RMT will have to hold yet another referendum of their members to determine their views on the two-year pay deal. 

TSSA are in talks with DB Cargo over this situation to seek an assurance that the offer remains on the table for our members as fear now grows that the Company may withdraw the offer over RMT’s continual position to not accept the offer.
