TPE: TSSA Announce NEW Industrial Action In TPE In November
Given the lack of movement in negotiations within the Train Operating Companies. TSSA is announcing additional Strike Action and Action Short of Strike for all our members in TransPennine Express (TPE).
Our Union is once again forced to declare industrial action as we fight to defend jobs, protect terms and conditions and secure a pay rise that helps you cope with the ever-rising cost of living.
Industrial Action consisting of a Strike is called in TransPennine Express for work commenting from 00:01 until 23:59 on Saturday 5 November.
Additional Action Short of Strike (ASOS) is called from 00:01 on Monday 7 November until 23:59 on Monday 2 January 2023.
We have written to the company today to give notice that we are calling members to participate in:
- Ban on undertaking contingency duties arising from industrial action
- Ban on out of hours work communication
- Ban on on-call activities including ban on covering vacant on-call lines
This will take place over the following times and dates:
From 00:01 on Monday 7th November 2022 until 23:59 on Monday 2nd January 2023
This is in addition to the previous ASOS announced that is live and runs until 23:59 on 6th November 2022.
