Stena Line improved 2023 pay offer rejected

Thank you to those of you who took the time out to respond to our recent survey. In total 62.4% of the members eligible voted of those 51% rejected the offer and 49% accepted the offer. In addition, 100% of those who rejected the offer indicated that they are prepared to take industrial action.

We note that while our survey concentrated on the headline pay figure that other outstanding items including retrospective payments for lieu days and “unsociable hours” payments may have influenced the outcome of the survey. 

We will formally notify the company of the referendum result and continue to update you on further developments. While it is our preference to conclude the pay discussions through negotiation, we do so now knowing that we have your full backing and that you are prepared to stand up as required.
