Our Rail Our Future - Ticket Offices
TSSA's ticket offices campaign
Your ticket offices still need you!
Welcome to our campaign against the proposed closure of the majority of ticket offices in England.
Our union is totally opposed to these plans and wants ticket offices to remain open. They perform a vital service and make sure everyone is able to get advice and safely use the railways. This is a historic fight for our trade union and one we will not back down from.
The public consultation on the proposals has now closed with an unprecedented 680,00 responses. However, our campaign does not stop here and there are still many ways to get involved.
We need to ensure as many people as possible continue to engage in the campaign, and raise their concerns, including the level of staff presence at stations and operators’ ability to deliver services for disabled passengers.
How to get involved:
- Sign the House of Commons petition: At 100,000 signatures, the petition will be considered for debate in Parliament.
- Write to your MP using this handy pre-filled email from Transport for All
- Talk to your local rep to find out more about how to get involved.
The following train operators manage the affected stations: Avanti West Coast • Chiltern Railways • Greater Anglia • London North-Eastern Railway • East Midlands Railway • c2c • Great Western Railway • Northern Railway • Southeastern • South Western Railway • Southern (GTR) • TransPennine Express • West Midlands Trains.
