TSSA in BTP
TSSA is the only recognised trade union within the British Transport Police. We represent all Police Staff in all grades, including Police Community Support Officers.
Our representatives are trained to deal with a wide range of workplace issues, from local issues such as sickness absence meetings, to wide-ranging issues such as the annual pay negotiations. Our reps attend various meetings with senior management, including the Joint Consultative Council which is chaired by the Chief Constable, giving us the ideal forum to have an input in important decisions that affect Police Staff.
By being a member of TSSA within BTP, you will have the support you need should you have any issues within your area or department.
