TSSA has been conducting a referendum of its General Grades members on the latest pay offer tabled by the company for 2023 following us holding a avoidance of disputes meeting which lead to an increased offer of a one year no strings offer of:
• 7.1% increase.
• A fixed increase of £1800 for those earning under £24,000, giving an average increase to those staff of 8.11%.
The pay referendum closed today at 15:00 and the results are as follows:
Percentage of general grade members who voted = 68 %
Percentage of those who voted who voted to accept the offer = 94 %
Percentage of those who voted who voted to reject the offer = 6 %
As a result, I have written to the company to accept the pay offer requesting information on when it will be implemented and backdated to the anniversary date of 1st April 2023, however if other unions have rejected the offer there may be a need for further meetings.
